Dazzle, the major annual jewellery exhibition returns this year to Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh, 6 - 29 August 2021.
Showcasing the best in contemporary jewellery, Dazzle provides a platform for both established and up-and-coming makers. Now in its 38th year in Edinburgh, and its 40th year in all, Dazzle has been the major design event in the Edinburgh calendar every August, and this year is no exception. Other venues have included the National Theatre and the Royal Festival Hall, London.
Dazzle 2021 will feature over 50 contemporary jewellers showing over 2,000 pieces, which are all available for sale. Beyond jewellery, printmaker Anya Percival returns and we will soon confirm a top scarf maker who will also feature, allowing a further glimpse into exceptional contemporary design. There will also be two mini exhibitions to celebrate the 40th anniversary including 40 brooches a selection spanning four decades of Dazzle exhibitions.
With the safety of visitors and staff in mind, Dazzle have established several measures to make the browsing and shopping experience enjoyable and safe. Staff will wear visors, hand sanitiser and gloves will be available, all jewellery will be cleaned before and after handling, and a booking system will allow you to book a free time slot in advance.
A visit to Dazzle 2021 is the perfect opportunity to get out and shop, and to support makers.
